Q: What does Bee Strong Fitness Provide that other training services don't?

A: Here at Bee Strong Fitness we provide full service personal training programs. We have employed staff trainers, which mean they only work for Bee Strong Fitness, allowing them to focus on only our clients. We also have personal training contractors that are screened for excellence and are around to pick up any slack, so none of our clients go untrained. Eventually, most of our personal training contractors are hired permanently. Why hire one trainer, when you can have a team of trainers dedicated to getting you the results you want and need? All of the trainers on our staff are fully insured and cooperate in creating routines and overcoming training obstacles for each client. We also realize that getting into better shape isn't all about exercise. It's about clients’ peace of mind, nutrition, and overall health. So we here at Bee Strong Fitness work to address all aspects needed to achieve your goals.


Q: What tools do you provide your clients to help them see results?
 

A: Our service to our clients is our top priority. We keep in constant contact with each of our clients on a regular basis to ensure they are receiving all the benefits of our service and that they remain properly motivated. We keep various open lines of communication between the client, the Trainer, the Training manager, and the General Manager. This helps us to ensure our clients needs and worries are taken care of as soon as humanly possible. We send periodic e-mails to each of our clients, staying on top of their exercise and nutritional needs. Our membership includes a user name and password for our site giving our clients detailed contact information on their training team, access to monthly nutrition reports, detailed notes on client’s progress, and fitness assessment reports.


Q: How do I find the right personal trainer for me?


A: When seeking a personal trainer, there are many things to look for. First, you must consider what type of training you are looking for. Second, you must know the trainer’s qualifications, certifications, and experience. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't let a plastic surgeon perform surgery on my face without thoroughly researching their certifications, and experience.  A personal trainer could seriously injure you if they don't have the experience or knowledge to do their job correctly. The human body is a complicated, delicate machine. While our bodies can be very resilient, training with an inexperienced, unknowledgeable trainer can result in serious injury and cause us to stray farther from our goals. Examples of credible certifications are (in no particular order): the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American Council on Exercise (ACE), and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Along with these certifications a trainer should have at least five years experience with the type of training they provide. We only require that our trainers have one year experience because all routines are supervised and monitored by our team of elite trainers.

 

    Q: Is 5 years experience really enough for a trainer to be considered Elite?

 A Yes, the fitness industry is one that is constantly evolving and often what was considered effective 5 years ago has been revealed to be harmful. Many times those with many years of experience are stuck in their ways and don’t consider new innovations in the field. Clients should take into consideration that the 5 years experience does not count education and only considers hands on training time. Also, 5 years is the minimum and our Elite trainers often have many more years of experience. Constantly learning and bettering themselves through further research and study is part of our Elite trainers’ job description. Bee Strong Fitness trainers do not act alone but as a team, assuring that the quality of each individual trainer is the best possible.

 


Q: How much weight can I realistically expect to lose with your program?

A: If your goal is weight loss, you can expect to lose roughly 1-2lbs per week if your health allows. If you are 60+ pounds overweight you may expect to lose weight a little faster. Realize that while time is an important issue, your health needs supersede any time constraints. We at Bee Strong Fitness want you to lose the weight correctly and healthily, so that you keep the weight off and just don’t gain it back a year later.

 If the weight loss is for competition reasons, there may be certain exceptions, but your health is still top priority.


Q: What is the Bee Strong Fitness Shape for Summer Challenge?

A: Bee Strong Fitness encourages friendly competition and holds an annual competition that usually starts in March and ends June 30th. There are two different categories, the biggest loser category, and the most radical transformation category. To enter you need only let your trainer know that you are interested or contact your local general manager. The biggest loser category winner will be the client that has lost the most weight, judged by the client’s weight measurements of monthly fitness assessments completed by a Bee Strong Fitness representative. The winner of the most radical transformation category will be picked by a panel of judges presided over by Bee Strong Fitness’ President. The criteria that will be judged includes the entirety of monthly fitness assessments completed by a Bee Strong Fitness representative and a picture taken by a Bee Strong Fitness representative in the beginning and end of the competition. The deadline for entering the competition is the last Friday in March, there will be no exceptions.


Q: How can you charge so little and provide such a great service?

A: Through our experience, efficient management, employed and contracted personal trainers, and in house training, we are able to offer such low rates. We would rather help more clients reach their goals at lower rates, while other unqualified, inexperienced Personal Trainers charge unnecessary rates to less people. Our ultimate goal is to educate and make fit as many people as possible in order to reduce the obesity and poor health epidemic affecting our country today.

Q: Do I need any equipment? How much exercise space do you need to ensure results? Can we train outdoors?

A: No, our Personal Training staff is very resourceful and knowledgeable. If you have any fitness equipment, be sure to let us know when filling out our new client questionnaires. If you are interested in purchasing equipment, let us know and we can provide you with a discount from one of our equipment providers and assist you in deciding what equipment you will need.

 What we need is an 8x8 foot area, and you will have some of the most invigorating and effective exercise routines you've ever had. If you are a group, team, or corporate member participating in group exercise or class sessions the space required is approximately 8x8 feet for every two people. Yes, we can train outdoors when the weather permits.

 We recommend you dress in fitness attire and have a bottle of water for your session.


Q: I am having technical difficulties reaching Bee Strong Fitness through the toll free number, what can I do?

A: We apologize for any problems with the phone system. Please email us  and detail any problems you have, so that we may fix them as soon as possible. If you are already a client, you can access direct contact information for your Trainer, Training Manager, and General Manager. This ensures that you should have no communication problems while you are a member of Bee Strong Fitness.

 

Q: I have forgotten my User Name and/or Password for my Member Login, what can I do?

 A: Please contact your General Manager who will be able to email you both your User Name and Password or email us  with your concern and we will get back to you as soon as possible.


Q: How do I start?

A: Call 1 (877) WRK-HARD to speak with a representative about all Bee Strong Fitness has to offer or email us  with your questions and a viable way of reaching you and we will get back to you as soon as possible. During this call we can set up your free in-home assessment and if you have the time, complete some of the intro questionnaires that you would have completed during your free assessment.


Q: Do you offer gift certificates?

A: Yes! We offer gift certificates for all the services we provide, simply contact us with your request and we can arrange delivery of your gift.

 Q: What if I am really out of shape? Will I be able to keep up?

 A: Yes, our Professional Certified Trainers make your routine to fit you. All routines are based on your physical ability and designed to push you to the necessary limits, in order to ensure that you reach your goals. The workouts are never too hard or make you nauseous, dizzy, or any type of uncomfortable. Sometimes it is necessary to push clients extremely hard, but that depends on your goals, mindset, and level of enthusiasm.

 

Q: What if my gym is not one of those on your list of affiliated gyms? Can we train there?

 A: If you have a local gym that you favor and would like to train in, and it is not on our list of affiliated gyms. We may still be able to train you there, what we would need is the name and location of the gym. We do not guarantee that your gym will allow us to train you there, but we will do our best to negotiate a deal with them for your interests.

Q: Can I afford Personal Training?

A: Yes, with our couples, group and corporate/team memberships and packages training is more affordable than ever. Sign up, and train together with friends and the price can be split amongst you. Training in this way is still effective and prices per session can reach as low as $6 per person.
